The historical and charming Williams Cottage on the grounds of the Spady Museum offers a unique setting for your event. It’s perfect for a meeting, celebration, family reunion or any type of get-together.
This early 1900’s cottage is beautifully restored with two rooms that open up to each other. It has a full kitchen and can accommodate up to 50 people. A big screen TV is available for use. The West Settlers’ District is the site of the first African-American settlement in Delray Beach.
Across the street from the museum is the LaFrance Hotel (1949), formerly the only hotel in Delray Beach that welcomed African-Americans during segregation. Mount Olive Baptist Church, the oldest Christian church in Delray Beach (1894) and the third oldest church in Palm Beach County is also nearby.
